GREP Partners with Linux Foundation APAC… "Expanding Cloud & Infrastructure Practitioner Training Program"

Grep (CEO Sung-soo Lim), the operator of the developer growth platform 'Programmers', announced on the 16th that it is expanding its accredited education program to foster professional talent in the cloud and infrastructure fields in cooperation with the Linux Foundation APAC.

Recently, securing cloud and DevOps specialists to operate AI models stably has emerged as a more critical challenge in the industry than the ability to implement AI models. According to the '2026 Workforce Shortage Survey' by global HR firm Manpower Group, 72% of employers worldwide are experiencing a talent shortage, with the shortage being most severe in the cloud and DevOps fields.

The lack of reliable metrics to evaluate practical skills is also cited as a problem. According to Robert Half’s "2026 Salary Guide," 87% of IT leaders give preferential points to applicants holding certified infrastructure and security qualifications. This indicates that the ability to verify practical skills—such as building server clusters and solving security issues in the field—is acting as a competitive edge in recruitment.

As the official domestic education partner of the Linux Foundation APAC, GREP provides accredited certification exams and training packages in Korea. The courses offered consist of a total of five training and exam packages—Kubernetes Operations (CKA), Application Development (CKAD), Professional Security (CKS), Linux Server Operations (LFCS), and Cloud Fundamentals (LFCA)—and one standalone exam package for System Development (RVFA). A key feature is the enhancement of practical application skills through hands-on assessments.

In addition, it supports the purchase of vouchers using domestic payment methods without overseas payment procedures, and during the first half-year promotion period running until March 31, it offers a 45% discount on education and exam voucher packages and conducts a prize giveaway event for buyers.

“Competitiveness in the AI era depends on the ability to design infrastructure that supports model execution and scalability,” said Lim Sung-soo, CEO of Grep. “Through this program, I hope domestic developers will acquire global standard capabilities, alleviate the imbalance in workforce supply and demand in the industry, and enhance their individual career competitiveness.”

Based on this program, Grep plans to expand its influence in the domestic cloud and infrastructure talent development market and strengthen the supply of customized personnel to companies.
