HS Hyosung Information Systems, an AI and data infrastructure and technology consulting firm, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for enterprise data technology cooperation with EDB Korea, the Korean branch of EDB, a data sovereignty-based AI and data platform company.
This agreement was pursued to combine EDB Korea's enterprise database and data processing and analysis software technologies with HS Hyosung Information Systems' capabilities in AI and data infrastructure design and implementation consulting. Through this collaboration, both companies plan to expand business opportunities and strengthen their competitiveness in the domestic data-based system implementation market.
In particular, both parties agreed to cooperate in strengthening the 'EDB ecosystem' by collaborating with various partner companies. The goal is to provide data solutions optimized for domestic corporate customers and expand their market presence by working with partners who possess industry-specific expertise.
"We expect to create synergy by combining our infrastructure design and consulting capabilities with EDB, which possesses global technological prowess," said Yang Jeong-gyu, CEO of HS Hyosung Information Systems. "We will not stop at supplying products but will help companies achieve digital innovation as a technology partner that supports the construction of stable data platforms and efficient data operation environments."
“It is meaningful to collaborate with HS Hyosung Information Systems, which possesses infrastructure technology capabilities,” said Kim Hee-bae, Country Manager of EDB Korea. “This collaboration is part of our partner-centric ecosystem strategy and will support domestic companies in securing data sovereignty and building intelligent data platforms as they pursue cloud migration and data modernization.”
In the recent corporate IT environment, as demands for data sovereignty and security intensify, there is a growing trend toward building proprietary data platforms and expanding collaboration on enterprise database technologies.
