Wadiz Analyzes Funding Data from Beauty Special Exhibition… Selects 18 Top Projects

Crowdfunding platform Wadiz announced that it analyzed funding data from a beauty special exhibition held in January of this year, selected a total of 18 outstanding projects, and awarded them the 'Wadiz Emblem'.

This evaluation was conducted based on funding data from 99 projects that participated in the '2026 Happy New Beauty' special exhibition held from January 15 to 28. As a result of the evaluation, excellent projects were selected in 16 detailed categories, including essences and ampoules, masks and packs, cleansing, sun care, makeup, devices, inner beauty, and K-beauty.

The selected projects demonstrated their product competitiveness through various indicators that verify funding performance and consumer response. Bella C&C's 'Sun Essence' recorded approximately 14,000 cumulative reviews based on its lightweight feel and high user satisfaction, and achieved the highest performance in the sun care category during this special exhibition.

In the essence and ampoule category, K&S Company's 'Celixa Ampoule,' which uses PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) ingredients, ranked first in the sector after receiving high interest with approximately 3,000 pre-notification applications.

The 'Wadiz Emblem' is a certification mark designed for brands that have verified their product competitiveness through crowdfunding to use when expanding their distribution channels. Brands that receive the emblem can use it to convey their product competitiveness and market response across various marketing channels, such as social media, their own online stores, and advertisements, based on funding performance data.

In addition, it was found that payments were made in overseas markets, including the United States, Japan, and Australia, for eight of the 18 selected projects. This demonstrates that the utilization of Wadiz is expanding as a channel for early-stage K-beauty brands to gauge global consumer reactions and verify the potential for entering overseas markets.

Wadiz's beauty category has continued its growth trend over the past few years. The average funding amount per person has increased by approximately 74% over the past three years, and in 2025, the number of projects that successfully raised over 100 million won in funding reached an all-time high of 47.

Wadiz plans to support makers in securing product quality verification and a stable production system through cooperation with professional partners, such as manufacturers and clinical trial institutions.

The company explained that the selected projects are examples where product competitiveness was confirmed through actual supporter participation and data-based evaluation, and stated that it plans to expand related support to enable promising K-beauty brands to verify market response and establish a foundation for growth.
