Emerson Korea (CEO Jae-Sung Jung), a global technology and software company, held 'Tech Connect 2026' in Gumi and Pyeongtaek on the 10th and 12th, introducing the latest automation technologies and innovative solutions to customers in the domestic process and manufacturing industries. Approximately 100 customers and partners from various industries, including chemical, semiconductor, energy, and EPC, attended the event, which included solution demonstrations and discussions on industry-specific application methods.
At this event, technical insights based on enterprise operating platforms and strategies for integrating industry-specific workflows were shared. The Gumi event focused on green transition strategies for the high-value-added specialty and power and energy industries, while the Pyeongtaek event emphasized next-generation automation solutions for sustainable growth and responding to transitions in the oil and gas, chemical, and semiconductor industries.
The event consisted of eight presentation sessions and a smart technology experience zone. Various measurement solutions were introduced, including the new DCS version of DeltaV 16.LTS, Coriolis flowmeters, Rosemount™ radar level transmitters, Flexim clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters, and Rosemount™ X-well temperature measurement technology. In addition, measures to enhance process safety and efficiency were presented through WirelessHART-based wireless solutions, Fisher control, and new technologies for safety and isolation valves.
Attendees were able to experience the technology firsthand and identify solutions with high potential for field application and practical strategies. Jae-Sung Jeong, President of Emerson Korea, stated, “This event served as an opportunity to share technical solutions with industrial customers and support integrated workflow innovation utilizing a next-generation AI-based enterprise operations platform,” adding, “We will continue to support our clients in achieving sustainable business results through operational optimization.”
Meanwhile, the domestic industrial automation market is accelerating plant efficiency and safety enhancement through the expanded adoption of AI-based operating platforms and smart measuring instruments.
