Megazone Cloud (CEO Yeom Dong-hoon), a company specializing in AI and cloud services, has developed a generative AI platform to streamline report writing tasks at JB Woori Capital, a specialized lending company affiliated with JB Financial Group, and has successfully launched operations.
JB Woori Capital has consistently faced a time burden on its working-level staff due to the large amount of repetitive work involved in the process of analyzing corporate information and preparing key reports, such as business approval applications and review opinions. In response, Megazone Cloud established a report automation platform using its generative AI consulting service 'Megazone AIR Consulting' and development service 'Megazone AIR Build'.
The platform combines Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 4.5 and Search Augmented Generative (RAG) technology with AWS's Amazon Bedrock. When working-level staff select a report type and reference documents, the AI generates a draft, and features such as additional generation, summarization, and term explanations can be immediately utilized through a chat-based interface. Notably, the platform achieved a reduction of approximately 80% in the time required to write sales approval applications and 30% in the time required to write review opinion letters.
The system is integrated with the existing JB Woori Capital business portal, allowing working-level staff to immediately check the status and results of report generation in a familiar environment. Furthermore, it is designed with a hybrid structure to meet the security and regulatory requirements of the financial sector and ensures stability by applying security measures such as VPN-based encrypted communication, access control, two-factor authentication, and kill switches.
Lee Jae-kwan, Managing Director and Head of the Digital-IT Division at JB Woori Capital, said, “As simple, repetitive tasks have decreased, employees have been able to focus on core business and customer response,” adding, “Collaboration efficiency between departments has also improved, leading to increased organizational productivity.”
Gong Seong-bae, CAIO at Megazone Cloud, stated, “We have proven that generative AI can generate tangible business results even within the financial sector’s strict security regulatory environment,” adding, “We plan to support customers’ digital innovation based on AI and cloud technologies specialized for the financial industry.”
