Company A Expands Global K-POP Fandom Business Based on TIPS Selection and Investment Attraction

K-POP fandom commerce startup Company A announced that it is expanding its global fandom business based on its selection for the TIPS program and securing seed investment.

Company A is building a fandom-based business model by operating a K-POP IP commerce platform centered on participatory services that directly connect stars and fans, such as fan signing events and video call events for global fans. Through its proprietary platform 'myStarGoods,' the company plans and manages fan events in collaboration with various entertainment companies, securing high conversion rates and stable revenue through a structure that combines event participation with content consumption.

In addition, we are developing a generative AI-based secondary IP expansion model utilizing fandom data, and are pursuing the monetization of content IP assets through the production and supply of K-POP idol characters. Through this, our goal is to build a new fan-centric content business ecosystem.

Company A CEO Lee Heon-seung stated, “The selection for the TIPS program is the result of simultaneous recognition of the growth potential and technological competitiveness of our fandom-based commerce model,” adding, “We will expand our global fandom events and K-POP IP-based content business together.”

The company plans to continuously build a fan experience-centric entertainment business model along with the expansion of global fandom events in the future.

Meanwhile, the K-POP fandom commerce market has recently been showing growth centered on the utilization of IP content based on global fans and participatory event models.
