Innogrid, a cloud and AI infrastructure company, has established a partnership with Bankware Global, a financial software company, with the goal of expanding the AI transformation (AX) market in the public and financial sectors.
On the 18th, the two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation in AI, core banking, and cloud businesses at their headquarters in Seoul. Key officials, including the CEOs of both companies, attended the event to discuss cooperation plans for digital transformation projects.
This collaboration was pursued to reflect the trend of AI and cloud technologies establishing themselves as core infrastructure across public institutions and the financial industry. The two companies plan to combine their respective technological capabilities and business experience to expand joint business opportunities in the relevant markets.
Under the agreement, the two companies will pursue cooperation throughout the entire process, ranging from business planning and consulting to implementation and operation. Based on Innogrid's public cloud technology and Bankware Global's finance-specialized solutions, they plan to proceed in stages with AI, API, and ERP projects in the public sector, AI and private cloud implementation in the financial sector, technology exchange, and the discovery of new businesses.
In addition, by combining Innogrid’s AI-centric private cloud and GPU resource management technology with Bankware Global’s core banking and financial framework, we are also promoting the expansion of an integrated service model that encompasses the central government, local governments, and financial institutions.
Innogrid stated that it expects AI-specialized cloud technology to increase utilization in the financial sector and intends to contribute to the expansion of the digital transformation market through its integrated public AX service.
Bankware Global also explained that it views this as an opportunity to expand financial systems to a cloud-based system, and plans to enhance market competitiveness and secure cooperation cases through the combination of the two companies' capabilities.
Meanwhile, Innogrid is a company that has focused on developing core cloud technologies since its establishment in 2006. Based on comprehensive cloud solutions such as IaaS, PaaS, and CMP, it has secured numerous implementation cases in the public, financial, and corporate sectors, and recently, it has also been expanding its AI cloud ecosystem, the 'Cloudyverse'.
Meanwhile, as digital transformation projects in the public and financial sectors combining cloud and AI technologies expand recently, strategic cooperation among companies is becoming increasingly active.
