Raon Secure (CEOs Lee Soon-hyung and Lee Jung-ah), an AI security and authentication platform company, announced on the 18th that it has signed a business agreement with RS Edu Consulting (CEO Song Young-sun), a career planning education consulting company, to expand its digital authentication business for middle and high school education.
This agreement focuses on converting students' career and college admission information into digital authentication that can be utilized throughout their entire lives on the 'Lifelong Career Data Management Platform' operated by RS Edu Consulting. The partners are middle and high schools affiliated with the National Association of Career and College Counseling Teachers, and the goal is to build a trusted infrastructure in the education sector based on Raon Secure's blockchain technology.
Raon Secure plans to apply 'OmniOne Digital ID,' a blockchain-based integrated platform for identity and credential authentication, to middle and high schools. Through this, students will be able to securely manage their personal information, including career-related data such as aptitude, learning style, personality, strengths, and values, under a single digital identity.
OmniOne Digital ID is a platform utilized in South Korea’s mobile ID issuance system for 45 million people and on university campuses, and through this agreement, its foundation of trust is expanded to middle and high schools. In addition, it provides the 'OmniOne Badge' function, which allows for the certification and sharing of students' learning outcomes, course completions, and qualifications in an international standard format, thereby supporting the digital recording of competency data accumulated during their enrollment and enabling its submission to external organizations.
This collaboration extends to the private certification sector. The qualifications for the psychological and career counselor training courses operated by RS Edu Consulting can now be verified through OmniOne Digital ID, allowing counselors to present their qualifications anytime, anywhere with just digital authentication.
Raon Secure and RS Edu Consulting plan to jointly develop new service models based on digital authentication across the fields of education and psychology, and expand them to educational institutions, public organizations, and private companies.
RS Edu Consulting developed the comprehensive career test for the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education’s Career and College Admissions Information Center and has been operating career aptitude education programs based on an extensive network of counseling and coaching centers.
Lee Jung-ah, CEO of Raon Secure, stated, “Digital authentication, which originated in the educational field, will establish itself as the foundation for proving a student’s lifelong competencies on a Web3-based trust infrastructure,” adding, “We will collaborate with specialized companies in various fields to create a practical digital authentication model centered on the Web3 ecosystem.”
