Korea Gender Equality Education Promotion Institute, Seoul Metropolitan City 120 Dasan Call Foundation Signs Business Agreement

The Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education (Director Kim Sam-hwa) under the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Seoul Metropolitan Government 120 Dasan Call Foundation (Chairman Lee Lee-jae) on Monday, June 23 to spread awareness of gender equality and violence prevention.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to cooperate in various areas, including ▲cooperation in education and publicity to spread awareness of gender equality and violence prevention, ▲cooperation in creating a gender-equal organizational culture, ▲cooperation in discovering female talent and increasing their representation, and ▲other matters related to mutual business support and promotion of friendship.

According to the agreement, the two organizations will gradually carry out detailed cooperation, including developing and promoting educational content to improve accessibility to gender equality services, fostering a gender equality organizational culture, and discovering female talent.

Kim Sam-hwa, the president of the Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education, said, “In order for gender equality awareness and culture to take deep root throughout society, everyone must be able to use related services equally and comfortably.” She added, “Through this agreement, we hope that the two organizations will move forward together toward the common goal of improving accessibility to gender equality culture.”
