Ant (CEO Sang-Yoon Lee), a digital transformation (DT) and artificial intelligence (AI) company specializing in bio, nano, and chemistry, announced on the 23rd that it signed a business agreement (MOU) for a strategic business alliance with the life science division of Merck, a global science and technology company in Germany.
This agreement aims to strengthen market competitiveness by combining expertise and solution capabilities of both companies with common interests in bio, nano, and chemical research. The two parties plan to pursue practical cooperation measures such as market research and data sharing, joint marketing campaign planning and execution, and strategies for attracting new customers and retaining existing customers.
Ant provides digital transformation consulting services, including the research data management solution 'Labnote' and the AI research assistant 'Labnote Scholar' to companies, research institutes, hospitals, and schools. As the only DT/AI company in Korea specializing in the bio, nano, and chemical fields, it possesses research data standardization technology and know-how, and is expecting a sustainable partnership through collaboration with Merck's vast materials, reagents, equipment, solutions, and related data.
In addition, to commemorate the signing of this MOU, Ant will run a joint marketing campaign called 'Merck X Labnote, Opening the Future of Research Innovation Together' until August 11. Customers who participate in the campaign can receive the latest product news and research tips from Merck by signing up for research news and registering on the Sigma-Aldrich website, and will be provided with souvenirs such as a nap pillow, Merck notebook, and product discount coupons.
“As the only research data solution company that has partnered with Merck, we will provide researchers with more information and convenient functions through this agreement,” said Ant CEO Lee Sang-yoon. “We will actively pursue joint commercialization with Merck in the future.”
