Squares Completes Attracting 2.2 Billion Won in Investments.. “Cumulative Investment Amount: 3.1 Billion Won”

Squares, a startup that operates the AI-based no-code website builder 'Qshop', announced on the 23rd that it has completed attracting 2.2 billion won in Series A investment.

This investment round was led by Hyundai Investment Partners, with participation from Korea Credit Guarantee Fund and Strong Ventures. With this investment, Squares’ cumulative investment amount reaches 3.1 billion won.

Square operates Qshop, an AI-based no-code platform that can automatically create websites and online shopping malls with just a few clicks, without any development or design knowledge. Qshop uses generative AI technology to support automatic copywriting, image placement, content section composition, etc. in real time.

With this investment, Squares plans to advance Qshop’s technology, strengthen its customized functions, expand its marketing, and prepare for its entry into the global market. It also plans to expand its partnerships to build a collaborative ecosystem with professional producers.

Lee Jun-byeong, manager at Hyundai Investment Partners, explained the investment background by saying, “Square is innovating the way websites are created using AI technology, and Qshop is a company with the potential and execution power to grow into a global SaaS platform.”

“Through this investment, we believe that Qshop’s generative AI technology and market potential have been recognized,” said Jinwoo Ko, CEO of Square. “We will continue to strengthen our product capabilities so that more users can easily start an online business.”
