Artificial intelligence (AI) language data company Plitto announced on the 23rd that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Busan University of Foreign Studies to develop AI-based multilingual solutions and build language data.
This agreement was signed for the purpose of promoting joint research and development of multilingual language data and AI solutions utilizing it based on the AI technology and language/regional expertise of both parties.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲building multilingual language data ▲utilizing and industrializing language data ▲exchanging AI-based real-time translation technology ▲developing and disseminating AI language education solutions ▲cultivating language data and AI talents, etc. Through this, Pluto and Busan University of Foreign Studies plan to build a continuous and systematic cooperation system in various fields.
Through this agreement, both parties will focus on securing high-quality multilingual data and advancing AI-based real-time translation technology, and will also cooperate in developing language AI solutions that can be used in industrial settings and expanding related education programs.
This agreement is also significant in that it provides a foundation for Pluto to participate in the Busan University of Foreign Studies’ Global University Project. The Global University Project is a project that supports universities selected by the government with up to 100 billion won over five years with the goal of strengthening the competitiveness of universities outside the metropolitan area, and Busan University of Foreign Studies was recently selected as a preliminary designated university for 2025.
