Vessel Aerospace changes its name to 'Next Aerospace'

Vessel Aerospace announced on June 20 that it would change its name to 'Next Aerospace' and begin its transformation into an aviation specialist company.

The new mission contains the vision of a company opening the 'Next Chapter' of aerospace and global expandability. Next Aerospace plans to grow into a high value-added aviation company by expanding its business areas from existing manned aircraft-centered development to next-generation technology fields such as unmanned aircraft (vertical takeoff and landing/launch type), urban air traffic (UAM), and AI-based aviation systems. It is also accelerating preparations for an initial public offering (IPO).

The new logo, unveiled together, is a symbolic design that depicts the silhouette of an aircraft taking off, and its graceful curves and precise design symbolize the next-generation aviation technology leadership. The deep navy monochromatic color was applied to visually express the reliability and expertise unique to the aviation industry.

Next Aerospace is currently the only company in Korea developing and mass producing civilian aircraft for leisure and sports and pilot training, and is expanding its diverse drone platform business based on this technology. In particular, it is strengthening its position in the industry by securing its own technological competitiveness in the vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) and launch-type drones.

Their main products include ▲180kg class high-performance maritime mission vertical takeoff and landing UAV 'MVUS (Maritime VTOL UAV System)' ▲50kg class vertical takeoff and landing UAV 'VVS-50' ▲50kg class hybrid vertical takeoff and landing UAV 'VVS-50 Hybrid' ▲launch-type UAV applied with manned and unmanned composite combat system 'VAM-800' ▲small reconnaissance UAV 'VLA-20', etc. These products can be operated in urban and wild areas without runways, responding to diverse demands.

A company official said, “Through the name change, we will strengthen our identity as an aviation specialist and proactively respond to the rapidly changing aviation industry environment to grow into a company that leads the global market.”
