Long Black Signs Content Partnership with Japan's NewsPix

Knowledge content subscription service LongBlack announced on June 20 that it has formed a content partnership with Japanese business media platform NewsPicks to officially provide original content to the Japanese market.

Through this partnership, business content produced by Long Black will be introduced to Japanese readers, and Long Black will begin its global expansion in earnest.

NewsPix is a Japanese economic news platform launched in 2013, with over 10 million members. It is a space where experts, managers, and opinion leaders actively work, and has curated high-quality content through collaboration with leading overseas media. Through this collaboration, Long Black plans to translate one piece of content from various fields such as brand case studies, personal interviews, startups, entertainment, and lifestyle into Japanese every week and provide it to NewsPix.

Kim Jong-won, Vice President of Time & Co., said, “NewsPix is an economic news platform leading the Japanese paid media market,” and “At a time when interest in Korean business and culture is growing, we will achieve meaningful results in the Japanese market through collaboration with NewsPix.”

“Long Black is a next-generation media with a trust-based reader community and high-quality content,” said Mitsufumi Ikeda, Chief Media Officer of NewsPix. “Its high content quality and global strategy are in line with NewsPix’s goals. Through collaboration between our two companies, we will provide new intellectual stimulation to Japanese readers.”
