Kyungkonjin, recruiting companies to participate in '2025 Symbiotic Open Innovation'

Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency announced on the 20th that they are recruiting participating companies for the '2025 Symbiotic Open Innovation' project to support local startups' market development and collaboration with large and medium-sized companies.

'Symbiotic Open Innovation' is a program that discovers joint projects with large and medium-sized companies based on the content and technology owned by startups, and strengthens market entry capabilities through production funds and customized consulting. Selected startups will be provided with up to 50 million won in production support funds, and will carry out collaborative projects with large and medium-sized corporate partners.

This business is characterized by providing consulting support from professional accelerators during the project production stage, and then seeking to commercialize the business through follow-up connections such as corporate venture capital (CVC) connections and business partnerships with large corporations. This year, six companies, including AlbiW Co., Ltd., Hyundai Dream Tour, Channel A B&C Co., Ltd., LG Uplus Co., Ltd., Danal Co., Ltd., and EBS, are participating as partners, and a total of 10 projects have been proposed.

The detailed recruitment areas are ▲Artist AI multilingual translation and audiobook content ▲AI/XR-based travel service ▲Digital signage content ▲AI marketing and AI multilingual subtitle service ▲Original content-based XR and AI marketing ▲AI learning platform and virtual humans for education, etc.

The application is open to startups in the fields of metaverse, VR, AR, XR, AI, etc. that have been in business for less than 7 years. There are no regional restrictions, but companies outside of Gyeonggi-do must relocate or establish their headquarters, branch office, or research center within Gyeonggi-do within 1 month of signing the final agreement.
