Jiro Rebrands Video Production Platform Dudum to 'DropshotMatch'

Video production platform 'Dudum' has officially announced that it has changed its brand name to 'Dropshot Match' and is transitioning to the integrated brand 'Dropshot' that aims to resolve inconveniences throughout the entire video production process.

Dropshot Match (formerly Dudum), which has grown rapidly since its launch in 2021 by connecting corporate customers and professional production partners, continues its rapid growth, exceeding KRW 10 billion in cumulative transaction amount as of the first quarter of this year.

This brand name change is a strategic decision to help customers produce professional videos more easily in an era where video has become the center of brand communication.

In particular, early this year, we launched a new Korean video stock platform, 'Dropshot Stock', to solve the difficulty of securing footage, which is the first step in video production. Dropshot Stock provides high-quality stock footage that includes Korean culture and Korean people, and supports content creation without filming.

With this, Dropshot has declared itself an all-in-one video production brand that encompasses everything from planning to shooting/editing, and video source acquisition, centered around two axes: 'DropshotMatch' and 'DropshotStock'.

“Based on the trust we have built under the name Doodoom, we are preparing for an even bigger leap forward with the new name Dropshot,” said Giro Co-CEO Hwang Gil-hwan. “Changing the brand name was not an easy decision, but it is an important turning point for us to become a partner that takes responsibility for video production from beginning to end.”

With this rebranding, the official website address will also change, and a complete overhaul will be carried out to enhance user experience. All data, including existing user accounts, projects, and settlement history, will remain intact.
