Coversummon, Air Neck Cushion Patent Registration… ‘Pillow O’ Product Launch

– Airtech-based 11-character asymmetrical structure enhances comfort and stability… Applied to ‘Pillowo’

– Designed with portability added to cooling material, making it ideal as a portable neck cushion for summer

– Expanding travel and daily life specialized product lines… Strengthening technological and design competitiveness

Lifestyle textile technology company Coversummon (CEO Jaeho Lee) announced on the 19th that it has completed patent and design rights registration for its ‘human-friendly wing-shaped air cushion with support’ technology.

Coversummon is a company that researches and develops functional products based on fiber technology that utilizes natural elements such as air, heat, and light. It continues to innovate sustainable fashion technology with 25 domestic and international patents and over 250 design and trademark rights.

The core of this patent is the addition of an 11-shaped asymmetrical fusion structure that supports the back of the neck to Coversummon’s unique Air Tech. It is designed so that users can adjust the amount of air injected to achieve a fit and stability that suits their body type, and the technology was applied to Coversummon’s air neck cushion product, ‘Pillow’O’, and released.

Also, it is made of polyester and polyurethane blended material with excellent cooling function 'Sorona COOL TOUCH' yarn, so it can be worn comfortably even in the summer, and it is easy to manage because it can be washed without removing the cover. When not in use, it has a packable structure that can be folded into the built-in pocket, increasing portability and storage efficiency.

Based on this, Coversummon plans to expand its airtech-based product line optimized for various lifestyles such as travel, daily life, and relaxation.

CoverSurman CEO Lee Jae-ho said, “CoverSurman’s unique technology philosophy is to design the entire process from the moment you use the product to the moment you put it down, centered on the user,” and added, “We will continue to develop wearable products optimized for various lifestyles with sustainable technology and design.”

Meanwhile, Coversummon operates its own lifestyle tech brand, KEEK, and is introducing its flagship product, Pillowdy, which combines a neck pillow and a hoodie. It has currently recorded cumulative sales of 67,000 units and is available in major duty-free shops and hotel stores in Korea, such as Mondrian Hotel in Itaewon, Seoul and Shinsegae Duty Free in Incheon Airport Terminal 1.
