SnapTag participates in the '2025 Korea Defense Industry Development Fair'

SnapTag (CEO Min Kyung-woong) participated in the '2025 Korea Defense Industry Development Exhibition (InLEX KOREA 2025)' held at the Daejeon Convention Center from June 18th to 20th and introduced 'LAB Guard', an information security solution based on invisible watermark.

This exhibition was hosted by the Army Training Command and defense-related organizations, and was held with the goal of fostering K-defense global companies and developing the Korean defense industry.

Snaptag received a lot of attention from the Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel at this event by introducing 'LabGuard', which supports all operating systems and can be easily applied to military systems. LabGuard is a technology that inserts invisible watermarks into various media such as mobile apps, PCs, web screens, printouts, images, and video files, detects watermarks in the event of information leaks, and accurately tracks the leak path.

In particular, it is noteworthy that it operates stably on the iOS operating system. Recently, as the use of iOS-based mobile devices has increased within the military, the need for a security solution to respond to this has increased. LabGuard is provided in SDK form, so it is compatible with the existing military security system, allowing immediate introduction without complex system changes. These characteristics are evaluated as a security enhancement method suitable for the defense environment.

SnapTag set up a variety of demonstrations at its exhibition booth, allowing visitors to experience LabGuard’s features directly on iOS devices and check the tracking process through watermark scanning.

A SnapTag official said, “LabGuard is an innovative solution that provides both powerful security features and easy adoption even in an iOS environment,” and added, “We expect that this exhibition will be an opportunity to expand its application within the military and contribute to strengthening information security in the defense sector.”
