KHAN, selected as '7th Window Program'

KHAN Co., Ltd., which operates the AI-based Korean language learning platform 'TopikON', has been selected for the 7th 'Changgu Program' jointly hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea Institute for Startups and Entrepreneurship Development, and Google Play.

The 'Changgu Program' is a project to discover and support startups in the mobile app and game sectors with technological prowess and growth potential. Every year, 100 companies are selected and provided with commercialization funds along with Google's global network and technical support programs. Changgu is a compound word of 'startup (창)' and 'Google Play (구)'.

'TopikON', operated by KHAN Co., Ltd., is a personalized Korean language learning and TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) preparation platform that utilizes artificial intelligence technology, providing a wide range of learning experiences for beginners to advanced test takers. Key features include AI voice interviews, mock exams, information on Korean universities and companies, and a learning reward character system, which enhances learning efficiency and user engagement.

As a result of being selected for this window program, TopikON will receive ▲strategic consulting for app service advancement ▲participation in customized programs for global expansion ▲technical and marketing support from Google ▲cloud credits, etc.

CEO Kang Tae-jin of TopikON said, “This selection is a recognition of TopikON’s technological prowess and service potential,” and added, “We will meet the demand for Korean language learning around the world based on AI technology and strive to grow into a global edutech platform.”
