Blue Chip CNS to supply 'public location text service' to Chungbuk Provincial Office

Blue Chip CNS , a location-based specialized IT company, announced on the 19th that it had supplied its 'public location text service' to the Chungcheongbuk-do Provincial Office. The service is a system that uses location-based precision targeting technology to send customized information only to people located within a certain radius in real time.

Chungcheongbuk-do Provincial Office introduced this service to proactively respond to disaster situations such as forest fires, and it was designed to provide selective information only to visitors and hikers within the actual danger radius, complementing the limitations of the existing emergency disaster text message (CBS) that targets an unspecified number of people.

The public location text service sets precise zones (polygons, circles, etc.) based on location information from a minimum of 300m to a maximum of 2km in radius, and utilizes precise location data that cannot be falsified through direct linkage with telecommunications companies. Messages are automatically received only when the target’s mobile phone is in the corresponding location in real time. In addition, it supports MMS format messages that include images as well as text, allowing for intuitive information delivery.

Blue Chip CNS is a company that provides real-time location-based services to various industries such as finance, manufacturing, logistics, and public institutions. It also applies its technology to emergency dispatch services for insurance companies, abnormal transaction detection and user authentication in the financial sector, and vehicle control and distribution target marketing in the logistics industry.

Currently, the public location text service is being used by local governments and public institutions, including the Chungcheongbuk-do Provincial Office, Inje County Office, and Cheorwon County Office, and approximately 20 institutions are considering additional introduction.

A Blue Chip CNS official said, “We are attracting attention in the public safety service market through differentiated location-based technology and messaging platforms,” and added, “We will continue to expand our public contribution to strengthen disaster response capabilities through technological advancements.”
