Day One Company selected as a ‘good recruiting company’

Day One Company announced on the 19th that it was selected as a 'Good Recruiting Company' by the Education Spring Foundation.

'Finding Good Recruiting Companies' is a project that the educational civic group (Re)Education Spring has been running since 2022 to spread a healthy recruitment culture. The selected companies are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of ▲recruitment criteria that are not limited by academic background or background ▲fairness and transparency of the recruitment process ▲social recruitment value, etc. Of the 50 companies disclosed this time, 78% were found to have adopted blind recruitment and free-form resumes.

Day One Company is actively implementing blind selection in the hiring process, and it is known that about 60% of its leadership staff are graduates of universities outside the metropolitan area. This is evaluated as the fact that it operates personnel management based on work ability and growth potential rather than academic background.

The interview process also features a practice-oriented structure. The first interview is conducted by executives, but the final decision is made by the working-level staff. The 'Failure Track' selection process, which considers diverse experiences, is operated to expand the scope of support opportunities.

In addition, Day One Company operates practical education and employment-related programs through its own job training brand, 'Zero Base.' In particular, it provides actual work experience to hundreds of young people every year through 'Zero Intern,' which is part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's 'Future Tomorrow Work Experience Intern Project.'

A DayOne Company official said, “We aim to simultaneously discover talent and contribute to society through competency-based hiring and practical training,” adding, “We will continue to expand our fair hiring culture in the future.”
