
Drone AI technology company NearsLab has been named to the 'Top 100 Global Drone Defense Companies 2025' announced by The Defense Post, a U.S. defense media outlet. In addition to NearsLab, the list also includes traditional global defense companies such as Lockheed Martin (U.S.), BAE Systems (U.K.), Thales Group (France), and Elbit Systems (Israel).
In addition, defense companies focusing on emerging technologies such as Anduril, Shield AI, and Red Cat Holdings were also selected, and the ranking is interpreted as reflecting the trend of technological innovation centered on drones and artificial intelligence (AI).
Defense Post said that this ranking comprehensively evaluated drone-related sales, unmanned system contribution, R&D investment scale, technological growth potential, and future innovation capabilities. Nears Labs received high marks for its vision AI capabilities based on autonomous flight technology, global award history, and performance in advancing into the U.S. defense network.
Choi Jae-hyeok, CEO of Nearslab, said, “This selection is a result of proof not only of our technological prowess but also of our practical applicability,” and added, “We plan to continue to expand our global defense partnerships and accelerate our advance into the drone export market.”
