Fintech company Moin announced on the 18th that it has been selected as a 'DATA-Global' company by the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency. With this selection, Moin will receive support benefits such as government subsidies of up to 50 million won, overseas expansion consulting, participation in global exhibitions, and connections with related organizations.
'DATA-Global' is a program that discovers and supports small and medium-sized companies with excellent data utilization technology and global competitiveness. This year, 7 companies in various fields such as healthcare, bio, and fintech were finally selected in a competition rate of about 40:1, and Moin was named as a representative company in the fintech field.
Moin received high evaluations in the evaluation based on its artificial intelligence (AI)-based fraud detection system (FDS) technology. It operates an AI model that learns financial fraud patterns by country using its own remittance data, and is blocking potential risks early through real-time detection and customized monitoring systems.
Moin plans to use this selection as an opportunity to strengthen its competitiveness in the overseas remittance market for individuals and companies and to expand its base for overseas expansion.
Moin CEO Seo Il-seok said, “Through this DATA-Global selection, Moin’s technological prowess and global expansion potential have been recognized once again,” and added, “We will advance our AI-based financial security technology and expand our global partnerships to provide a more reliable remittance environment.”
