SR Alpha Therapeutics (hereinafter referred to as SR Alpha Therapeutics), a digital therapeutics and healthcare software company, announced that it signed a ‘strategic business agreement (MOU) for integration and joint distribution of digital wellness content’ with Risso , an AI-based electric massage chair manufacturer.
Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly present a convergence product that provides users with both physical relaxation and digital-based health management experiences by linking the digital health application currently under development by S.Alphaterra with the pad mounted on Risso’s third-generation electric massage chair.
The product will be distributed to general consumers (B2C) as well as public and corporate markets (B2B/B2G) such as call centers, government offices, military bases, and welfare facilities. The two companies also plan to gradually expand their cooperation for joint development of new wellness content and entry into the global market.
“Along with the development of digital therapeutic devices, we are strategically pursuing the expansion of wellness and healthcare software, and this collaboration is a meaningful advancement for both companies in advancing into the digital health market,” said Choi Heon, CEO of S.R.Pathera Commercialization. S.R.Pathera is currently operating an eye health management app called ‘DEAR EYE™’, and the app is undergoing further development, with the goal of an official launch by the end of 2025.
“We expect to be able to further enhance the user experience by directly linking digital health content to hardware,” said Risso CEO Kim Joo-hyung. “We will actively pursue expansion into domestic and international markets based on the technological prowess and market capabilities of both companies.”
