Global family entertainment company The Pinkfong Company (CEO Min-seok Kim) will be releasing the brand's official font, 'Pinkfong Baby Shark Font' on the 17th to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'Pinkfong Baby Shark'.
'Pinkfong Baby Shark Font' was planned to express gratitude to fans around the world who have loved Baby Shark for the past 10 years. The font fully captures the influence of Baby Shark, a global IP (intellectual property) that is available in 25 languages in 244 countries and holds 4 Guinness World Records, including No. 1 in worldwide YouTube views and the first in the world to surpass 10 billion views.
It supports a total of 9 languages (Korean, English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Vietnamese, Indonesian), which is the first and largest in the domestic content industry, and has further strengthened the brand's global expandability through a 13,200-character character set developed by The Pink Fong Company.
The font design visually expresses the cheerful and dynamic brand sensibility by using a triangular shape inspired by Baby Shark's dorsal fin and the brisk rhythm of the 'doo doo doo doo' melody. In addition, special characters symbolizing Pinkfong and Baby Shark are provided in the form of icons, further increasing friendliness and usability.
