Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, Recruiting Participating Companies for the 'University-Specialized Youth Entrepreneurship Activation Support Project'

The 'University Specialized Youth Entrepreneurship Activation Support Project' hosted by Gyeongsangnam-do and organized by Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center will begin recruiting participating companies on Monday, June 17 and will run until Wednesday, July 2.

This project aims to discover and foster young entrepreneurs based on the specialized capabilities of universities in the province, and Changwon National University and Inje University each operate entrepreneurship support programs centered on specialized fields.

Changwon National University will cooperate with the operator, Y&ARCHER, focusing on the fields of ▲smart manufacturing convergence ▲eco-friendly energy ▲sustainable development, and Inje University will cooperate with the operator, ZEPHYRUS Lab, focusing on the fields of ▲biomedical and medical devices ▲digital healthcare ▲advanced bio to support the early growth of young startups, promote technology commercialization, link private investment, and create a local startup ecosystem.

The recruitment target is young (39 years old or younger) (potential) start-up companies with less than 7 years of experience and at least one of their headquarters, branches, factories, or research centers located in the Gyeongnam region. A total of 14 companies, 7 companies corresponding to each university's specialized field, will be selected.

The companies that are finally selected will participate in the full-scale program starting in mid-July, and will receive commercialization funds of up to 10 million won or more per company (differentiated payment based on evaluation results).
In addition to this, various benefits are provided, such as △direct investment and follow-up investment linkage by the operator, △linkage of tangible and intangible resources in the university's specialized fields, △customized 1:1 mentoring and consulting, △entrepreneurship education and networking, and △participation in IR demo day to strengthen capabilities.
