Intelligent robot service platform company Neubility announced on the 17th that its robot integrated operation platform 'Neubiego' won the main prize in the design concept category of the 'Red Dot Design Award'. This is an achievement following winning the iF Design Award in 2024, and Neubility has been recognized for its technological prowess and design capabilities by winning consecutive international design awards.
The Red Dot Design Award is one of the world's top three design awards, hosted by the German Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen. The design concept category focuses on evaluating innovation and concept perfection. Winning the award means that the product's creative design and technical implementation level meet international standards.
The award-winning 'Newbigo' is a RaaS (Robot-as-a-Service) solution that can manage the entire operation of autonomous robots, including path generation, real-time control, and remote control. Based on an intuitive user interface, it is designed so that even users without robot operation experience can easily access it. In addition, it can simultaneously control multiple robots and automatically create and edit paths, so it can be applied to various fields such as smart logistics, unmanned services, and smart buildings.
The Newbility Experience Design Team stated that “the integrated UX design encompassing both robot hardware and software was the main factor in winning this award,” and that “the sophisticated implementation of the user experience based on cyber-physical systems (CPS) had a positive impact on the evaluation.”
Lee Sang-min, CEO of Newbility, said, “Design is an important medium for people who use technology,” and added, “We will continue to secure the expandability of the service robot ecosystem through a user-friendly robot platform.”
