Kim Caddy Signs Business Agreement with KT Gangbuk and Gangwon Metropolitan Headquarters

Kim Caddy Co., Ltd., which operates the golf lifestyle platform ' Kim Caddy ', announced on the 13th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with KT Gangbuk and Gangwon Metropolitan Headquarters to improve the communication infrastructure and operating environment of screen golf courses and golf practice ranges nationwide. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to engage in practical cooperation such as improving store operation efficiency and joint marketing.

The main contents of the agreement are: △Local-based advertising broadcasting through KT Genie TV's 'Our Neighborhood Advertisement' △Preferential supply of KT store automation solutions (Hiorder, etc.) △Provision of communication environment (wired/wireless) and call manager consulting for franchisees △Support for joint sales activities and store optimization, etc. The related service conditions and fees will be separately announced through KT's small business application form.

Through this collaboration, KT plans to provide various technology-based solutions, such as Genie TV advertising, communication infrastructure, integrated consulting, and store automation systems, to Kim Caddy franchise stores. Based on this, Kim Caddy plans to simultaneously enhance the operational efficiency and customer inflow of franchise stores.

The two companies will also run promotions targeting consumers, such as providing discount coupons for practice passes through the Genie TV channel, and plan to expand practical benefits that can contribute to increasing sales at affiliated stores.

The screen golf industry has recently seen an increase in demand for digital transformation across all operations, including reservations, payments, and entry. Through this collaboration, Kim Caddy is responding to these changes and is also reviewing the possibility of introducing an unmanned operation model at some stores.

Park Sung-yeol, head of KT’s Gangbuk and Gangwon Regional Headquarters, said, “I think it is meaningful that we can apply KT’s media and communication technologies to approximately 6,000 golf stores nationwide through collaboration with Kim Caddy,” and “We will continue to contribute to promoting the digital transformation of local commercial districts and small and medium-sized businesses.”

Kim Caddy Vice President Choi Jae-rim said, “The collaboration with KT will have a positive impact on golf shop operators in two aspects: providing them with practical marketing opportunities and improving their operating environment,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen our technology cooperation centered on franchisees to support sustainable golf course operations.”
