The Founders , a global brand builder, announced that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with CNF, a global hair, body, and skin care manufacturer, to improve damaged hair.
Through this agreement, The Founders’ derma hair care brand FROM LABS has established its own research organization, ‘Trans-Tech Hair Lab’, and has embarked on joint research and product development with CNF to improve damaged hair. As the first result of their joint research, the two companies have introduced the 3rd generation treatment that uses the ‘FROM LABS PROTEIN CAPSULE HAIR REPAIR™’ technology.
According to CNF, the third-generation treatment is characterized by combining smart capsule technology and ion adsorption technology to simultaneously enhance protein absorption and durability. The company explained that this allows the protein to be stably adsorbed deep inside the hair, minimizing moisture loss and providing long-term hair improvement effects.
“The key to product development was improving the protein’s adsorption capacity, and we can expect noticeable improvements even with just the initial use,” said CNF Research Director Lee Jong-hwan.
A Fromlabs official said, “This collaboration is the result of combining the research and technological capabilities of both companies to focus on increasing consumer satisfaction,” adding, “We plan to continue to pursue innovation in the hair care market through differentiated technology-based products in the future.”
