Xromeda Launches Korea's First VR Celebrity Pictorial Brand 'VROOK'

– Adding digital elements using VRAI to 2D-based content, strengthening creator-fan interaction through 'participation' rather than 'viewing'

-Launching promotion to be held at COEX C Hall in Seoul from the 18th… Participatory events such as a photo session with V-look cast members are planned

-“We expect that creators will be able to design ‘experiences’ with fans through VRAI-combined content, providing a high level of immersion.”

XR tech company Olymplanet's fandom platform XROMEDA announced on the 16th that it has officially launched Korea's first VR celebrity pictorial brand, 'VROOK'.

Vlook is a next-generation fan experience content that combines VR video, AI-based composite pictorials, and real-life pictorials with the traditional lookbook format that visually composes the style and concept of a celebrity. Its unique feature is that it allows you to appreciate the celebrity's overall visuals, atmosphere, gaze, and movements in three dimensions.

To commemorate the launch of Vlook, Exromeda will run a separate booth and run promotions at 'MARS 2025', hosted by Hwaseong City, at COEX C Hall from June 18th to 20th. The nine celebrities who participated in Vlook will introduce content combining VR and AI application technologies at the booth for one hour each during the expo, and there will also be various fan participation events such as photo sessions. Various special benefits will be provided, such as giving a limited edition AI photo card to the first 30 booth visitors.

Vlook consists of three products: ▲Basic Package ▲Special Package ▲ALL Package. Commonly included content is 20 celebrity pictorial photos, 1 VOD containing the pictorial site, and 1 VR VOD. The 'Special Package' includes the full version VR video and a mobile-only VR device (HMD). The 'ALL Package' includes the full version VR video, mobile-only HMD, 20 B-cut pictorials, and AI special photo cards in digital and physical form, respectively.

AI photocard is a generative image content that analyzes the fashion style of a celebrity and then automatically synthesizes backgrounds and visual effects that fit the concept. It creates unique visuals by directing scenes that are difficult to implement in reality, and increases the rarity and collection value as a limited edition digital goods. Detailed information, such as the components and prices of each V-look product, can be found on the Exromeda homepage.

Ahn Ho-jun, Vice President of Olymplait, said, “Vlook is a new type of content that captures the process in which celebrities transform from simple photo subjects to creators who design immersive experiences with fans. We expect that the celebrity’s style and worldview will be three-dimensionally realized through VR videos and AI pictorials, enabling a highly immersive fandom experience.” He added, “Starting with the launch of Vlook, Exromeda will support creators in designing long-term, independent revenue structures through content that reflects their own worldviews and concepts, and will build a creator-friendly ecosystem.”

Meanwhile, the celebrities participating in Xromeda's first V-look are ▲Geu-Woo-Di ▲Momorina ▲Yang Hye-Won ▲Kyu-Nyang-Nyang ▲Jeong Da-Byeol ▲Lee Na ▲Q-Ina ▲Trollya ▲Sobli, a total of 9 people.
