Teampass (CEO Lee Seul-ae), which operates the cosmetics manufacturing B2B platform 'Branit', announced on the 24th that it has been selected as the official cosmetics manufacturing partner for the 4th term of CJ ENM's health and beauty (H&B) brand incubating program 'Onstyle+Incubating'. The two companies recently signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) and began full-scale collaboration.
'Oncubating' is a program where CJ Onstyle discovers promising H&B startups and brands and supports their growth. In this 4th term, a total of 25 brands participated, including health functional food and beauty brands, and influencers such as Isabae, Ha Jiwon, Company A, and Sim Eo-teum. In particular, starting this year, it is jointly operated with the Seoul Creative Economy Innovation Center, and support has been expanded to include entry into the global market beyond domestic distribution.
Through this agreement, Teampass will support the entire product development process of brands participating in the 4th On-Cube. Based on the Brainet platform, it will provide an integrated solution from manufacturer search, product planning, sample production, production, and export linkage, helping brands launch products more efficiently and quickly.
Branet is Korea’s first supply chain management (SCM) data-based cosmetics manufacturing B2B platform, focusing on connecting brands and manufacturers to increase production efficiency and resolve information asymmetry. Customized matching is possible based on various data such as the manufacturer’s performance, formulation, certification, and minimum order quantity (MOQ), and it also supports ultra-small-quantity production of indie beauty brands.
Teampass has been working with influencers, creators, SM Entertainment, etc. to develop ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) business. This collaboration with CJ OnStyle serves as a bridgehead for K-beauty brands to enter the global market, and includes premium manufacturing consulting from brand concept planning to ingredient suggestions, production of samples for photoshoot, and export linkage.
Brands participating in the on-incubation can take advantage of a development period shortened by up to 50% compared to existing ones and an ultra-small-quantity ODM production plan that can start from a minimum of 500 units. In addition, through Brainet’s AI-based ODM system and its own R&D lab, it is possible to produce products that reflect the brand’s unique concept.
Teampass CEO Lee Seul-ae said, “Through this partnership, we will actively support brands with high growth potential to secure both branding and production capabilities at the same time,” and “We will continue to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of domestic and foreign brands through manufacturing innovation.”
