Social venture Real Design Tech announced on the 16th that it has attracted investment from Magna Investment Impact Fund and Sangsang Ibiz Sports Fund based on the development of the full-body core exercise and brain health health bot 'ULTIRACER'.
This investment is a result of recognition of Real Design Tech's digital healthcare and core exercise solution technology and growth potential amid the growing importance of cognitive function improvement and balance ability enhancement in an aging society. 'Ultiracer' is a coordination-based interactive cycling system that uses both hands and legs at the same time, suggesting a new exercise method that can train the brain and body simultaneously indoors.
With this investment, Real Design Tech plans to focus on technological advancement, development of digital therapeutics (DTx), entry into overseas markets, and expansion of cooperation with public institutions, hospitals, and fitness centers.
“We are delighted to be working with a trustworthy investment partner,” said Lee Jung-shik, CEO of Real Design Tech. “We will continue to innovate so that more people can easily manage their brain health and improve their quality of life.”
A Magna Investment official said, “Real Design Tech is an impact company that pursues both technological prowess and social value, and was highly evaluated for providing practical solutions to address brain health issues in an aging society.”
Sangsangbiz CEO Park Soon-bong said, “Real Design Tech is an innovative company that has developed a system that enables full-body core exercise beyond the limitations of existing indoor cycling,” adding, “We expect it to have a positive impact on the domestic and international sports and healthcare industries as a whole.”
