
On the 13th, the Jeollanam-do Volunteer Center and the Yeosu City Women's Volunteer Council signed a business agreement (MOU) to promote volunteerism and promote public interest in the local community at the Yeosu City Women's Volunteer Council conference room.
This agreement aims to expand the social participation of female volunteers and create a sustainable volunteer environment, and the two organizations agreed to cooperate in various areas such as capacity-building training for female volunteers, operation of joint volunteer activity programs, cooperative response in disaster and emergency situations, and discovery of youth-women joint volunteer projects.
The two organizations plan to jointly plan volunteer activities that reflect regional characteristics and needs, and actively cooperate in providing administrative and promotional support.
Jeollanam-do Volunteer Center Director Kim Sang-gil said, “We will further strengthen the volunteer ecosystem throughout Jeollanam-do through cooperation with local volunteer organizations.”
Yeosu City Women’s Volunteer Association Chairwoman Lee Jeong-sook said, “I hope this agreement will be an opportunity for women’s delicate care and practical skills to play an important role in various parts of the community.”
