Climate tech startup Uisikjuli announced on the 13th that it was finally selected for the '2025 Youth Forestry Startup Support Project' jointly hosted by the Korea Forest Service and the Korea Forest Service.
This project is a government support program to support young entrepreneurs in the forestry industry, and provides up to 30 million won in business funds, mentoring, and network connections to young entrepreneurs with less than 7 years of experience. This year, consciousness was selected in a competition rate of about 4 to 1.
The company announced a business plan based on the use of high added value forest products and forest-based ESG strategies, and it is known that it received high scores in material development and social value realization during the evaluation process.
In particular, the company is preparing a line of wellness cosmetics for women who have experienced pregnancy and childbirth, focusing on the antioxidant, soothing, and moisturizing effects of persimmon extract. Through the product, the company also plans to pursue various social value realizations such as collaboration with local farmers, development of forest experience content, and expansion of eco-friendly packaging.
CEO Yoon Tae-i said, “We will prove the potential of forest resources in the cosmetics industry and grow into a sustainable brand that connects forests, technology, and people.”
