XYG, '2025 2nd Emerging AX Knowledge Research Conference' held

Service robot specialist XYZ announced that it held the '2nd Emerging AX Knowledge Research Conference in 2025' jointly with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) at its complex cultural space 'Lounge Y' in Seongsu-dong, Seoul on June 12.

This event was organized under the theme of 'General to Vertical: Evolution and Challenges of Vertical AI', and was designed to discuss the possibility of applying artificial intelligence (AI) technology to industrial sites and practical use. Around 30 experts from various fields, including companies, academia, and research institutes, attended and exchanged opinions on the direction of AI technology development and actual use cases.

The Knowledge Research Conference was held in a format symbolizing the fusion of technology and culture, hosted by KISTI and provided by XYG. In the presentation session that day, XYG CEO Hwang Seong-jae introduced the application cases of the company's technology under the theme of 'Physical AI to Retail: Cases of retail innovation through intelligent robots.'

In his presentation, CEO Hwang said, “As AI is combined with hardware, the way we work, organize spaces, and experience customers in retail settings is changing,” and explained the efficiency of store operations and the improvement of user satisfaction through autonomous serving robots, barista robots, and kiosk linkage systems. In particular, he emphasized that real-time data collected from the company’s operating space, ‘Lounge X,’ is playing an important role in the advancement of AI technology and the development of domain-specific models.

In addition, △Samsung Securities Team Leader Lee Jong-wook presented on the topic of 'Paradigm Shift in the AI Industry and Ecosystem Growth Cycle', △EY Han Young Managing Director Kyung-mi Cho presented on the topic of 'Digital Transformation Portfolio Case', and △Alphacode CEO Ha-seong Jeong presented on the topic of 'Technological Turning Point in the Agent Era'. Dr. Kwang-hoon Choi of KISTI emphasized the need for a demand-centered cooperative ecosystem and customized Lab-to-Market strategies through his presentation on 'Open Innovation Strategy for Commercialization of Vertical AI'.

Through this knowledge research conference, Xyzy demonstrated how AI technology is being applied in actual industrial sites through specific cases and spaces. CEO Hwang said, “Vertical AI is an optimized artificial intelligence centered on the field, and Xyzy is implementing this as a service robot,” and “We plan to expand the application of technology to various industrial fields beyond retail in the future.”
