Jeollanam-do Volunteer Center and Jeollanam-do Aerobic Hip-Hop Association announced on June 12 that they signed a business agreement (MOU) to promote community health and volunteerism.
The purpose of this agreement is to support the healthy lives of residents and expand community participation through volunteer programs utilizing cultural and sports resources.
According to the agreement, the two organizations plan to continue cooperation in various areas, including ▲operating aerobics and hip-hop performances and experience programs ▲health promotion activities for volunteers ▲cultural sharing services for the underprivileged ▲jointly promoting events and campaigns. Through this, the goal is to establish a foundation for volunteers in the province to continue their volunteer activities in a healthy manner and to spread an experiential volunteer culture that anyone in the province can easily participate in.
Yang Man-yeol, the president of the Jeonnam Aerobic Hip Hop Association, said, “It is very meaningful because the activities of our members can lead to contributions to the local community,” and added, “We will actively seek out volunteer activities that people of various age groups can participate in.”
Jeollanam-do Volunteer Center Director Kim Sang-gil said, “We expect to be able to add vitality to the volunteer field through aerobics and hip-hop,” and “We will continue to cooperate so that volunteering in everyday life can naturally become established as a culture.”
