Minerva Edu is developing and operating 'Kurum e', an AI collaborative education platform optimized for team project-based learning. Through this investment, the company plans to advance the platform's functions, expand domestic services, and fully advance into the global market.

'Kkurume' is a digital collaboration tool specialized for team-based classes such as group activities or group assignments, and provides functions that reduce teachers' burden of class preparation and operation while increasing students' real-time participation and learning efficiency. In particular, the entire class process has been optimized for the digital environment through templates segmented by subject, type, and grade, real-time chat, AI-based participation rate analysis, and ChatGPT-linked exploration functions.

Currently, around 1,500 teachers in around 350 elementary, middle, and high schools across the country are using Kkurume, and the cumulative number of members is around 10,000. In addition to the platform, Minerva Edu is providing solutions to various educational fields through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics)-based educational content and running a learning center.

Series Ventures explained the background of their investment by saying, “AI and collaboration-based education are important factors in fostering future talent,” and “We believe that digital education solutions like Kkurume will be competitive in the global market as well as the domestic market.”

Minerva Edu CEO Chu Chul-min said, “With this investment, we will simultaneously pursue improvements to the Kkurume function and nationwide expansion of learning centers,” adding, “We will lead the transition to digital education with AI-based customized education services and grow into a competitive company in the global youth edutech market.”
