
The Korea TOEIC Committee, a domestic education and assessment specialized organization under YBM, announced that it signed a business agreement with Gyeongsang National University to foster talent with global capabilities.
This agreement signing ceremony was held on June 12th at the Central Library of Gyeongsang National University’s Gajwa Campus in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, and was attended by YBM Korea TOEIC Committee Director Kim Hee-jun, Gyeongsang National University’s International Affairs Director Oh Jae-shin, and other officials from both sides.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to share each other's educational resources and infrastructure and jointly seek various support measures to strengthen students' global capabilities.
The YBM Korea TOEIC Committee has been operating the 'Global Leader Support Program' for students of Gyeongsang National University since 2024, and is currently providing a discount on the TOEIC Speaking test fee. With this agreement, an additional 10% discount will be applied to regular TOEIC tests. In addition, the TOEIC Speaking authorized test center currently in operation at Gyeongsang National University will be expanded to improve the test environment.
Kyung Sang National University uses the TOEIC and TOEIC Speaking tests in various systems, including the university’s overseas dispatch program, language scholarships, exchange student selection, and graduation certification requirements. The two institutions plan to continue to strengthen their cooperation in the future to foster talents with global competitiveness.
Kim Hee-jun, head of the Korea TOEIC Committee, said, “Through this agreement, we will actively support students to not only enhance their foreign language skills, but also contribute to improving their practical employment competitiveness.”
