Music Cow Asset and the Korea Music Performers Association Sign Business Agreement

Music Cow Asset, a subsidiary of music investment platform Music Cow, announced on the 12th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Korea Music Performers Association (hereinafter referred to as the Music Performers Association) and will begin cooperation to protect the rights and interests of music performers and create new revenue.

This agreement was signed on the 11th at the Music Cow headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, and was created to establish a mutual cooperation system to protect the actual rights of music performers such as singers and musicians and to create a sustainable creative environment.

Through this collaboration, the two organizations plan to carry out joint projects in various fields, including ▲establishing an 'online music performance expert matching service' that connects professional performers with record producers and business operators, ▲promoting regular campaigns to protect music copyrights and raise awareness of rights, ▲introducing institutional financial products for music performers and supporting creative activities.

Music Cow Asset CEO Seo Dae-kyung said, “Based on the network and expertise of Music Cow and the Music Industry Alliance, we will establish practical rights protection for musicians and new revenue generation methods,” adding, “Through this collaboration, we will strive to contribute to creating a healthy ecosystem for the entire music industry.”

Lee Jeong-hyeon, chairman of the Korea Music Copyright Association, said, “This agreement will be an important opportunity to protect the rights of performers and improve their status in the rapidly changing music industry environment.” He added, “We will continue our efforts to ensure that performers can establish a stable foundation for their activities and continue their creative activities with pride.”
