Science and technology company Gradient announced on the 12th that it signed a three-party business agreement (MOU) with the Chaos Foundation and the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education to promote science education and culture.
The purpose of this agreement is to develop science education content that can be used in public education settings and to establish a joint cooperation system to establish science culture in everyday life. Each organization plans to promote practical cooperation projects based on its expertise and human and technical capabilities.
Key areas of cooperation include ▲ information and human resource exchange for the development of science education content and programs ▲ planning and operation of joint projects and events for the spread of science culture ▲ mutual support based on the roles of each organization in education, publicity, and consulting ▲ building a network for the spread of science education and culture domestically and internationally.
Gradient plans to participate in the development of educational content and the creation of a scientific exploration environment based on its AI-based scientific knowledge platform, SOAK (Scientific Odyssey Along the Knowledge). SOAK is a question-centered content design that induces learners’ curiosity, and aims for voluntary exploration beyond the acquisition of information.
Since its establishment in 2014, the Chaos Foundation has been promoting the popularization of science through popular science content, and has contributed to expanding the base of scientific culture through its representative lecture program 'Chaos Lecture' and YouTube channel 'Chaos Science'.
Gradient CEO Nam In-bong said, “Through this collaboration, we will contribute to creating an environment where more students can become interested in science and proactively expand their learning,” and “We will continue to work with various organizations in the future to spread scientific culture.”
