Letser , a business AI transformation partner company, announced on the 12th that it has signed a strategic partnership with LG AI Research Institute and will jointly promote a corporate-tailored AI verification project utilizing the ultra-large artificial intelligence (AI) model 'EXAONE'.
Through this agreement, the two companies will combine their respective technologies and field experience to provide AI solutions optimized for the domestic corporate environment. LG AI Research Institute will provide core technologies related to the development of ultra-large language models, and Letser will be responsible for verification and continuous management capabilities based on its experience in building and operating industrial sites.
ExaOne is a super-large AI model developed by LG AI Research Institute. It is competitive in Korean language understanding and generation performance and is evaluated as suitable for industries where security is important, such as finance, public, and manufacturing, as it can operate stably even in closed network environments.
Through this collaboration, Letser plans to apply ExaOne to corporate work environments in various industries and support post-implementation operations and management by linking it with its AI operation management platform, Staix. To this end, Letser plans to focus on creating actual business results beyond simple technology introduction based on its experience in carrying out over 250 projects.
The two companies also shared the same goal of building a long-term collaboration system beyond short-term construction. The strategy is to support companies to continuously apply the latest technologies and maintain business competitiveness in the rapidly changing AI technology flow.
With this agreement as a starting point, Letser plans to expand AI verification projects based on ExaOne, focusing on the finance, manufacturing, distribution, and public sectors, and to discover cases that can verify actual business effects beyond proof of concept.
LG AI Research Center Director Bae Kyung-hoon said, “Through collaboration with Letser, which has the ability to apply AI technology on the ground, we expect to be able to create various corporate application cases that can prove the effectiveness of ultra-large AI models.”
Letser CEO Shim Gyu-hyun said, “ExaOne is an excellent model suitable for the domestic corporate environment, and Letser will serve as a partner that can effectively realize this,” and added, “We will support continuous performance creation through AI.”
