Travel platform company Tripvitoz announced on the 12th that it has expanded cooperation opportunities in the digital tourism sector in Indonesia by participating in the '2025 Korea-ASEAN Digital Innovation Company Partnership' co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency.
This event was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, and 30 domestic digital technology-based companies participated, with various programs carried out with the goal of strengthening B2B cooperation with ASEAN countries.
During the event, Tripvitoz participated in B2B consultations, networking, and seminars with local companies and organizations, introducing its 'Travel to Earn (T2E)'-based technology and content-centered OTA (Online Travel Agency) platform service. In particular, it received attention from local Southeast Asian officials for its travel content distribution and user participation model differentiation strategy.
In addition, Tripvitoz has signed a strategic partnership with Archipelago Group, the largest hotel operator in Indonesia. Archipelago Group operates over 200 hotel brands throughout Southeast Asia, and the collaboration between the two companies will lead to practical business cooperation such as hotel reservation system linkage, joint marketing, and distribution channel expansion.
At the event, a meeting was held between Tripvitoz CEO Jeong Ji-ha and Archipalago Group CEO Chris Legaspi, and the two companies agreed to explore ways to jointly advance into the global market, including Southeast Asia, in the future.
Through this collaboration, Tripvitoz is concretizing its global market expansion strategy, and aims to more than double the foreign currency sales it recorded last year, which amounted to approximately $3 million, this year. The company believes that the export model, which combines platform-based tourism content and technological capabilities, will contribute to securing competitiveness in the digital tourism sector.
This partnership also benefits users in Korea. Hotels of Archipalago Group can be booked through the Tripvitoz app, and local specials, limited promotions, and Korean language services will be provided.
Tripvitoz CEO Kim Ki-sang said, “The ASEAN market is a key region where the combination of tourism and digital technology is progressing rapidly,” and added, “We plan to use this agreement as an opportunity to fully transition into a global tourism platform that combines content, technology, and distribution.”
