MegaZone Cloud Selected as Snowflake OpenFlow Partner

AI and cloud specialist MegaZone Cloud announced on the 12th that it is participating as an official launch partner for Snowflake's new data movement service 'Openflow'.

Snowflake recently unveiled OpenFlow at its annual event, Snowflake Summit 2025, held in San Francisco, USA. The service is designed to automate the manual process of building data pipelines, allowing companies to focus on data analysis and AI development instead of directly managing complex infrastructure.

OpenFlow supports various types of data movement, including structured and unstructured data, batch data, and real-time streaming data, thereby increasing the efficiency of data integration work while maintaining security and governance. Companies can utilize this to build a more stable environment for developing and analyzing data-based AI models.

Through this partnership, MegaZone Cloud has become the only company in Korea to participate in the early stages of OpenFlow’s launch. The company plans to efficiently connect data generated in on-premise and cloud environments to help customers quickly build flexible AI analysis systems. In particular, based on its architecture design experience in various industries such as finance, games, manufacturing, and commerce, it plans to focus on increasing the speed and efficiency of data utilization.

In addition, MegaZone Cloud plans to provide a one-stop service covering the entire process from OpenFlow introduction to integrated operation and optimization based on its expertise in AI and cloud technologies and personnel specialized in Snowflake solutions.

“OpenFlow aims to realize real business value beyond data movement through high connectivity and scalability,” said Chris Child, Vice President of Data Engineering at Snowflake. “We expect that data-centric innovation will accelerate in the Korean market through our collaboration with MegaZone Cloud.”

“We believe that OpenFlow will enable us to strengthen the connectivity and analysis capabilities of corporate data infrastructure,” said In-cheol Hwang, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of MegaZone Cloud. “We will continue to expand our collaboration with Snowflake in the future to help domestic and international customers build a safe and efficient AI data environment.”
