
Point Mobile, a company specializing in industrial mobile devices, announced on the 11th that it signed a contract to supply 2,000 units of the 5G mobile computer 'PM95' worth approximately 1.1 billion won to Polish retail company Zabka.
This contract is part of Zabka’s digital transformation to improve logistics operation efficiency, and will introduce Point Mobile’s latest 5G-based industrial mobile computer, PM95. PM95 is a product equipped with functions specialized for the retail environment, such as real-time data processing and inventory management, and will be utilized to enhance Zabka’s digital logistics system.
Point Mobile has previously supplied more than 10,000 logistics and store management products, including PM90, PM84, and PM452, to Zabka, and this contract further strengthens the cooperative relationship between the two companies. In addition, it recently signed a supply contract with Auchan Polska in Poland, and is continuing to expand its presence in the Eastern European retail market.
Zabka operates 11,562 stores in Poland and Romania, and is leading the digital transformation of the European retail sector, including 50 unmanned stores called ‘Zabka Nano’. It is introducing various digital solutions such as AI-based inventory management and mobile app-based customized services, and is also expanding new retail models such as drive-through stores called ‘Zabka Drive’.
“This supply contract with Zabka goes beyond simple product supply and signifies our full-fledged entry into the European retail technology ecosystem,” a company official explained. “Poland is a strategic market with geographic advantages and an advanced distribution infrastructure, and is gaining attention as a digital logistics hub in Europe.”
He continued, “Point Mobile will continue to expand its global orders based on competitive products and solutions that can respond to the rapidly changing European retail market.”
