XL8 participates as a technology partner in ‘Smart Tech Korea 2025’

XL8, an AI-based real-time translation technology company, announced that it will participate as a technology partner in 'SMART TECH KOREA 2025' held at COEX in Seoul from June 11th to 13th.

During the event, XL8 will provide real-time Korean and English subtitles for the 7th International Smart Technology Conference (TechCon 2025) and main programs using its AI simultaneous interpretation and subtitle solution, EventCAT.

Through this, domestic and international participants who visit the site will be able to check the presentation content with real-time translated subtitles on a large screen as well as on their own mobile devices.

'TechCon 2025' is Smart Tech Korea's representative program that focuses on cutting-edge technologies such as AI, robots, and digital security. XL8 plans to contribute to increasing participants' understanding and immersion in the presentation content by establishing a multilingual real-time communication environment.

XL8 will also be demonstrating the EventCat solution at booth D542 in the exhibition hall, introducing the system’s operating principles and utilization methods along with real-world application cases. Customized introduction consultations will also be provided to visitors.

EventCat is an AI solution that supports real-time translation and subtitles without fixed equipment or interpreters, and is used in various environments such as conferences, lectures, and broadcasts, as well as online meeting platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and MS Teams. It currently supports 43 languages, and is characterized by high cost efficiency and user convenience compared to existing interpretation methods.

XL8's Marketing Director Lee Sang-eun said, "AI-based simultaneous interpretation and subtitle solutions help lower language barriers, allowing anyone to freely participate in global events," adding, "Through this Smart Tech Korea, you will be able to experience first-hand cases of field applications of real-time interpretation technology."
