Bart announced that it signed a product supply contract worth a total of 560 million won with domestic home appliance giants L and W, and that sales this year are expected to grow more than fivefold compared to last year to 3.5 billion won.
Bart has commercialized a next-generation display solution that overcomes the limitations of existing hidden display technology, such as 'black fixed expression' and 'low light and moire phenomenon'. In particular, it can be applied not only to home appliances such as refrigerators and water purifiers, but also to the interior and exterior of vehicles.
In May 2025, BART succeeded in attracting 1.4 billion won in seed investment from investors including Unist Technology Holdings, and laid the foundation for full-scale growth by securing mass production facilities and recruiting personnel. This investment was positively influenced by not only the perfection of the technology, but also the already secured reference customers and the progress of actual supply discussions with six major home appliance companies and automakers.
CEO Kim Ji-woong said, “We were able to get a quick market response because we analyzed the market with a focus on technology and created products that started from the actual needs of customers.” He added, “Based on the trust of investors and customers, we will not be swayed by short-term performance, but will focus on sustainable growth and technological innovation.”
“In the home appliance and automobile industries, where displays are emerging as the only differentiating factor, BART is a company that has overcome the limitations of existing technologies and solved practical problems for its customers,” said Choi In-soo, a senior analyst at UNIST Technology Holdings who led this investment. “It will grow into an essential technology company that can quickly secure references in the global market.”
