DLG Law Firm has been officially selected for the 'ESG Performance Organization Pool' hosted by the Joint Growth Committee. A total of 28 specialized organizations, including DLG, are participating in this pool.
The ESG Performance Agency Pool is comprised of specialized agencies that can provide practical and field-oriented ESG consulting as part of the Joint Growth Committee’s support project to strengthen the ESG (environment, society, and governance) capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises. The Joint Growth Committee is currently promoting various ESG in-depth support projects for small and medium-sized enterprises to enable them to respond to ESG-related regulations and market changes.
Through this selection, DLG plans to provide services such as ESG diagnosis, customized consulting, and policy advice to small and medium-sized enterprises. In particular, it announced that it has the capacity to respond to global legal and business issues such as the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), industrial safety management, and greenwashing prevention, centered around the ESG Sustainability Center.
In addition, DLG appointed external experts such as Kim Min-seok, Kim Hye-yeon, Ahn Young-seok, Yoo Seung-kwon, and Lee Pyeong-hui as expert members to strengthen its expertise in the ESG field. In addition, it signed a strategic agreement with Hanaloop, a carbon management solution company to which environmental experts belong, to strengthen its response to global ESG issues such as carbon neutrality and the carbon border adjustment system.
Jin Yang-hee, director of the ESG Sustainability Center Research Institute, said, “ESG management of companies is moving beyond the declarative level to practical issues such as actual supply chains and information disclosure,” and added, “DLG will continue to provide effective support so that small and medium-sized enterprises can internalize ESG management and secure global competitiveness.”
