Spoon, Audio Live Identity Reinforcement Campaign 'Don't Listen, Play'

– Emphasize the unique charm of ‘Audio Platform That Plays with Voice’ with model Lee Si-an from ‘Solo Hell 4’
– Launch of ‘Sian Pick! DJs in the Spotlight’ section and ‘Explore’ function, encouraging participation in customized content through linked events

Spoon, an audio live content platform operated by global content platform company Spoon Labs (CEO Choi Hyuk-jae), announced on the 9th that it is launching a new brand campaign, “Don’t Listen, Just Play.”

This campaign, featuring model Lee Si-an from 'Solo Hell 4', strengthened the fun elements unique to audio platforms with the concept of 'a world where you play with your voice'. Spoon plans to expand its existing listening-centered user experience to solidify its positioning as a play space and focus on establishing a unique audio live culture.

Spoon released a 40-second campaign video on its official YouTube channel, 'Spoon Korea Spoon', emphasizing that audio live is not something to listen to but something to play, and highlighting the listeners enjoying singing their own songs, going on blind dates, and mimicking lines from dramas.

Also, as part of the campaign, ▲the 'Si-an Pick! DJs in the Spotlight' section containing content recommended by Lee Si-an and ▲the 'Explore' function that curates content to suit the taste of the voice were opened. The 'Explore' function is characterized by categorizing the DJ's voice with specific keywords such as 'gender', 'calm', and 'warm' to help listeners easily find the content they prefer.

To celebrate the campaign, Spoon will be giving away a 'Set of 3 10 Like Items' to new members during the month of June that will help them increase their favorite DJ's live broadcast rankings, and will also be giving away prizes such as 100 Spoons, an iPad, AirPods Max, and AirPods 4th generation when users listen to 1 minute of a live broadcast, like, or complete follow missions.

Spoon Brand Marketing Team Lead Kim Hwa-jung said, “We will not stop at simply providing audio content, but will create a platform environment that becomes a play space where all users can enjoy together.”

Meanwhile, Spoon is a global audio content platform equipped with a live audio service and podcast-style cast function that allows DJs and listeners to communicate in real time. It is currently in service in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, etc., and has surpassed 30 million cumulative downloads on a global basis.
