
Social startup Keymust Studio announced on the 9th that it had been selected as the implementing agency for the 'Hana Financial Group-sponsored Employment Education Support Project for the Disabled'. The project is a program hosted by the Korea Disabled People's Foundation and sponsored by Hana Financial Group, and aims to expand employment opportunities and strengthen the capabilities of the disabled.
Through this project, KIMUSTUDE will introduce an ‘AI-based artwork designer employment model.’ This model aims to provide digital design education using generative artificial intelligence (AI) to people with developmental disabilities, and to strengthen design job capabilities based on this and link them to actual employment. The curriculum includes customized theory and practice as well as internship opportunities through corporate connections.
This program was designed to improve the digital capabilities of people with developmental disabilities and to create sustainable jobs. Kimu Studio plans to operate career classes to support participants to acquire the skills necessary for actual work and gain field experience.
Nam Jang-won, CEO of Kimus Studio, said, “Design education utilizing AI technology can be of real help in expanding the capabilities of designers with developmental disabilities and increasing their professional potential,” adding, “Through this project, we will strive to provide both practical experience and employment opportunities.”
