
SBXG , which operates the esports team BNK PeerX, announced on the 9th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) for joint marketing and social contribution activities with Education Zone , which operates the AI-based learning platform 'Jokbo.com'.
The signing ceremony took place on the 5th at the BNK PierX Clubhouse in Jonggak, Seoul, with key officials from both companies in attendance. Through this agreement, both companies will utilize their respective key assets, content and platform capabilities, to promote marketing collaboration and carry out educational and cultural linkage activities targeting various classes.
SBXG operates BNK PierX, a team active in major global leagues such as League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege, and FC Online. In particular, it has signed an agreement with Busan Metropolitan City and is establishing its position as a representative local esports club.
Meanwhile, Jokbo.com, operated by the Education Zone, is a full-subject internal exam question bank service that uses AI technology based on approximately 10 million questions accumulated over 25 years. Recently, it has expanded its functions to become an edutech platform that combines AI algorithms and exam trend analysis with the goal of providing personalized learning content.
Through this agreement, the two companies will pursue collaboration such as ▲collaboration between BNK PeerX content and events and the Jokbo.com brand ▲linking BNK PeerX-related events and promotions within the Jokbo.com platform ▲jointly conducting social contribution activities (CSR) targeting youth. In the future, the Jokbo.com brand will also be exposed on BNK PeerX team uniforms, planning to further expand contact with fans.
Woo Hee-chul, the head of the Education Zone, said, “We focused on the fact that youth who enjoy esports can grow into active learners,” and added, “We hope that this collaboration will develop into a new model where education and interests can coexist.”
Lim Jeong-hyun, CEO of SBXG, said, “Esports and education services, which target teenagers and young adults as their main fan base, are mutually complementary,” and added, “We expect positive synergy between the two companies through a joint marketing model that can pursue both healthy competition and intellectual growth.”
